Removing a stubborn screw on case back

I came across an Omega Seamaster with a badly seized screw-on case back. Judging by the scratches on it, others had already tried to open it. Before coming up with this method, I tried supergluing a nut to the back (you can still see the glue residue in the picture below) and unscrewing it with a spanner, heating it with a heat gun, and using a triangle case back opener with the watch held in a vise. It wouldn’t budge at all, and you’ll see why.
